The International Hydrogen Development Symposium 2026 was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 18 to 20 May 2026. Hosted by the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department of the HKSAR Government and co-organised by the China Hydrogen Alliance, the flagship event of Hong Kong Hydrogen Week brought together experts, companies and public-sector organisations to discuss hydrogen safety, certification, liquid hydrogen applications, quality infrastructure and public education.

Connecting policy, technology and industrial practice
The FluviusH2 team joined the symposium and industry exhibition, exchanging views with participating organisations on green hydrogen technology routes, engineering applications and international cooperation. Solutions spanning hydrogen production, storage, transport, refuelling and end use were presented across the event, offering an important view of technical requirements, standards alignment and deployment pathways in Hong Kong and international markets.
Continuing the dialogue on scaling green hydrogen
Scaling green hydrogen requires more than higher production efficiency: safety regulation, low-carbon certification, quality standards and cross-regional cooperation must progress together. FluviusH2 will continue to connect its enzyme-coupled water electrolysis technology with practical applications through research validation, industrial partnerships and market engagement.

Participation in the symposium strengthened FluviusH2’s links with industry partners, research institutions and other members of the hydrogen ecosystem. The company will continue to take part in regional and international exchanges and advance efficient, sustainable green hydrogen technology towards broader application.
